Email user prompt type

Applies to Infiniti v8.3 or later

One of the newest features that has been added to the “Infiniti” application is a validation type for “email,” available in the User Prompt question. It will validate the input against an email regex (a character followed by an “@” followed by another character). The steps below shows on how to add an email with validation:

1. Create a new project and add a User Prompt question type.

2. Select “email” from the Data Type drop-down list, under the Properties tab.
3. The character limitation and the size of the email box can be customized. As an example, the character limitation has been set up to 50, which means the user will not be able to use an email which has more than 50 characters.

4. Save it and go to Produce to run the project.
5. The user will be able to get to the next page by entering  the correct email address, such as “rob.wizz@intelledox.com”

If the user enters an e-mail address which does not match the regular expression, Infiniti will prompt the user to re-enter the e-mail address (upon validation).
