Troubleshooting - Applies to Infiniti v8.0 onwards

Sometimes depending on how the SQL server environment containing the back end Infiniti database is configured it will only allow connections from the localhost and not from other servers on the network

Some possible causes are below but this list is not exhaustive.

1) Remote connections Disallowed

. Find, depending on your version of SQL server where the setting is located for remote connections
SQL SERVER 2008+
> Sql Server Management Studio.
> RHT Click the instance in Questions
> Go to Properties
> Connections
> Check "Allow remote connections to this server".

2) TCP/IP Protocols Disabled

– Find, depending on your version of SQL server where the setting is located for TCP IP Protocols
SQL SERVER 2008+
> SQL Server Configuration manger.
> SQL Server network configuration
> Protocols for ‘Your Server’
>TCP/IP
> Enable this setting.
